RED RED OUR BLOOD

2015

We walk bare feet on the sand, forgot that there are rocks that are sharp enough to cut through skin. We walk, cut the bottom of our feet open, open skin, open muscle, open wide wide open. There’s no pain I promise no pain there’s no pain. We bleed, bleed till our feet are red, are red. We bleed till we see red, more red, more and more red. Then we ran and step on every rock, large, small, medium sized, and cover them all with blood with red. The rocks are all red now, they are red as our feet. Can you tell whose blood stained which rock? Can you tell whose red is in where? It’s our blood, our red, there are our cells and red pigments and DNA and ours ours ours all over the rocks. It’s us us us all over the rocks all over the rocks. The rocks are ours now, they are red now. We are each other’s now, we are red and our red stained our rocks, it’s our blood our blood. We are each other’s now, we are red and our red stained our rocks, it’s our blood our blood. We are each other’s now, we are red and our red stained our rocks, it’s our blood our blood.
